Tommy Wilkins, a.k.a. "Tammy Walks" was happy with his life as one of the highest paid drag queen performers in New York City. He had a gorgeous apartment in Greenwich Village, men throwing themselves at his feet and he had lots of money in the bank. He didn't need the family that shunned him, the boyfriend that used to beat the hell out of him or even the gorgeous sexy linebacker looking Texan cowboy, named Anton "Ton" Forrester, that his friend Richard introduced him too. All he needed was himself. But Ton wasn't going to give up so easily because you see, Tommy is his mate, and he wants all of him, makeup, heels, dresses and costumes included. He wants to heal every scar and make the smaller man believe in love again. There's only one problem, someone is determined to keep the two men apart, even if they have to kill Tommy to do so.

Not a lot better than Book 1, and the only difference between the two is that this one has a lot more sex. Like, a LOT, which probably would've been less noticeable had the book actually contained the number of pages as listed in the description. At least it's hot sex, though! But again, like Book 1, no scholarly conversations or witty banter, no characters whose emotions you can actually feel, no depth of plot, and the minimal bit of drama and action are over very quickly. Very simple writing. Seemed to contain more editing issues than the first book, though, and not just typos. For instance, at the beginning Ton's wolf form was black, by the end it was brown. And the way Tommy got on the horse? Umm, no. And maybe I'm slow on the draw, but if Tommy was sitting in front of Ton on the horse, why did it say he was shot in the spine, rather than stomach or chest? But like I said in the review of the first one, it's cute. And could've been worse.Product details

I like the series and each book or story draws out more info on all the characters. This book starts with an into then a run away he can't love me because and ends up with a stalker and death for someone. Love the series
I quite enjoyed Tommy. He was spunky. Which was fresh. It gets tiring having the less dominate partner let the other take care of everything. A few times when Ton picked Tommy up and carried him, I wanted to yell at him to just let Tommy walk! (Mind you, a few of those times, Tommy was injured and it was better he didn't walk.) Tommy had fire and wasn't going to sit back and let Ton do everything. He wanted to protect Ton as much as Ton wanted to protect him. And despite being mates, it wasn't instant love. They were uncertain and it was very sweet watching them think and work through their feelings. Made when they realized they loved each other that much sweeter.
The only thing I wished there was more of was the baddie, Adam. I would have loved to see into his twisted mind more. We got the basics, but I would love a few more scenes that fleshed him out as the evil, bad guy even more.
This is a good read for anyone who just loves a good romance. I recommend the entire series to all romance lovers.
I did like this book but it could be better. I would have love to see the story more developed. The characters more developed making them grow more.
Beware the length of the book is misrepresented in the discription. If you think you are getting a 295 page book for $3.99, be prepared to feel robbed. The book has 1476 locations, which in no way translates to 295 pages--but then the story actually ends at 1331 locations.
That said, I liked the story itself fine. It is just not one I typically would have purchased had I known the actual length.
